“It’s about reacting to what you see, hopefully without preconception. You can find pictures anywhere. It’s simply a matter of noticing things and organising them. You just have to care about what’s around you and have a concern with humanity and the human comedy.” ~ Elliot Erwitt 1928
To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” ~ Elliot Erwitt 1928
We feel that photography is in our blood, we studied photography as part of our GCSE's back in 1997 at Ampleforth College, one of the finest schools in the U.K. A benedictine school with a strong emphasis on excellence and and motivation, Ampleforth college helped us to further instill our passion for photography and all things.
After finishing at Ampleforth, we moved on to studying photography at The Reigate School of Art & Design, winning the prestigious Kodak award for young students...
Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” ~ Don McCullin 1935
After studying at the Reigate School of Art & Design, we decided to expand our knowledge by studying Marketing & Advertising at the world renowned London College of Printing (LCP - Now known as the London College of Communication or UAL) where we learnt various methods of expanding marketing products and services by using strong visuals to create a direct impact through advertising.
Once we completed our degree of higher education in LCP, we then moved on to further study Editorial Photography at the esteemed Surrey Institute of Art & Design (now known as The university for the creative arts) where we fine-tuned our marketing & advertising skills to fit in with the editorial publishing sector.
Well, the rest really is history. We went on to work in various photography roles, editing roles, publishing roles, moved to North Africa for a brief stint, came back and started working in London whilst catching up with all the new social media websites that started popping up, such as facebook, twitter, flickr, youtube etc.
After learning how to use social media to our own advantage, we were asked to do so for a business in London, which led us to manage social media profiles for other companies.
After learning about Search Engine Optimisation (S.E.O), we started to manage web sites too which then led us to start building them and offering a full website building and S.E.O service. Since then, we have been embroiled in all things media.
